So, be sure to bring along your camera to capture all of the amazing things.
According to the Head of the Office of Tourism of East Nusa Tenggara, Marius Ardu Jelamu, participants will be taken to visit the Papagarang traditional village during the festival. Situated between Labuan Bajo, Komodo Island, and Rinca Island, the village has a unique natural wonder: small sand islets that formed the number '9', hence, the name Pulau Sembilan or Nine Island. What makes it even more special, there are plenty of jellyfishes at the center of these islets which makes for an exceptional sight.
As the main highlight of the festival and the icon of Indonesia's wildlife, you would not want to miss the chance to have an "up, close, and personal" experience with the
"King of Lizards", the Komodo Dragon. So, be sure to drop by Komodo Island and Rinca Island for the best trekking experience and observe how these amazing creatures live in their natural habitat.
Make the most of your time there by visiting some of the other islands and explore all the wonders they hold. Start your journey with a little hike up the hills in Padar Island. The hills will give you some of the most jaw-dropping sceneries of the area. A lot of beautiful landscape shots in Instagram were taken here, so don't forget to take a picture and post it on your social media.
Meanwhile, located nearest to the port of Labuan Bajo, Kelor Island is surrounded by underwater splendors perfect for snorkeling and diving. There is also Kanawa Island with its crystal clear calm water and white sand beach. Snorkeling, swimming, or just relaxing on the beach, Kanawa will surely pamper you with its exotic beauty.
Among these islands, there is also one that is simply defined by its name: Pulau Bidadari or the Angel Island. As beautiful as an angel, Pulau Bidadari has vast stretches of pearly soft white sands and amazing underwater scenery. Situated only about 2 hours boat ride from Labuan Bajo, this is where you can find the most diverse coral reefs and unique sea creatures as compared to the other islands.
