This media was founded by Rudi Sembiring Meliala who came to Labuan Bajo as a property and tourism entrepreneur since 2013. He said that Labuan Bajo and all of Flores needed the presence of businesses from all over the world. Therefore he built this media as a means to convey about all the potential possessed by Flores to be known by the world.

Initially this media was under the legal entity of PT Flores Today Indonesia, and because regulations in Indonesia require that the mass media require it to be under a specialized press company, so he established the company PT Media Flores Indonesia as the legal entity of this mass media.

This media has a specificity that is as a mass media that focuses on positive news, which builds, and promotes all the potential that exists in Flores. We will not preach anything bad that will damage Flores, which makes people lose faith in the goodness of Flores.
